Fire and fault alarm signals – a constant alarm signal equals fire! An alarm signal every 60 seconds equals a fault alarm, it could be a sign of a broken cable, faulty pressure switch/signal module, leakage/low pressure etc.
Light alarm – integrated in manufacturers system, in Fogmaker alarm panel and/or optional light strobe.
The detector bottle is the base for the detection system and the pressurized detection tube. This bottle is checked with every annual inspection to ensure correct pressure and functionality.
The distribution system consists of distribution hoses, pipes, fittings, and spray nozzles. The system distributes the suppression liquid from the piston accumulator out into the fire-protected area.
ZThe piston accumulator is the base of the Fogmaker system. and should have a working pressure of 100-105 bar at 20 degrees C.

In the event of a fire, the effectiveness of the system limits damage and helps reduce the cost of repairs to vehicles and equipment. Organizations around the world have found that automated fire suppression systems in the engine compartment are an important fire prevention measure. In addition, some of the world's insurance companies and bus operators require fire protection systems and the demand is increasing, partly due to the new legislation according to UN ECE R107. Around 50 European countries have signed this legislation and it seems that countries outside of Europe will follow suit. In practice, R107 means that any new bus that exceeds 22 passengers must have an OEM approved fire protection system in the vehicle.

A fire in the engine compartment of any vehicle / equipment can lead to several catastrophic consequences. This can mean a risk to the life of the driver (passengers), the risk of losing the means of transport/equipment, as well as unwanted downtime and even the loss of valuable transported goods. Many vehicles and transport vehicles operate in environments where fire could lead to serious risks to human health. These are, for example, tunneling, logging, underground mines, transport of ADR goods and many others. Another large number of trucks transported under ADR, of which the EX II, EX III and FL classes are at a huge risk to their surroundings, as this could lead to a BLEVE*.
